Orbis have embraced lone worker protection solutions which are monitored through our own BS5979 Cat II and BS8484 accredited Alarm Receiving Centre, giving us further scope to deliver a premium service to include people protection. With a reputation for the more extreme specialist cleaning and infection control services to customers across the private and public sectors, Orbis is consider the go to provider, delivering robust solutions for hospitals and police forces throughout the UK.
In the UK Orbis protects and keeps secure more than 50,000 void properties as well as 10,000 lone workers and cleans 20,000 properties, annually. Orbis solutions ultimately helps to reduce our customer’s property liabilities for insurance purposes, limiting the risks associated with vacant buildings ensuring our customers meet their insurance requirements in the most cost-effective way.
Spread throughout the UK, our base of more than 20 locations means we can provide a 24/7 responsive, fully-resourced, local service with our fleet of more than 180 branded vehicles. Orbis has the depth of resource and employs more than 480 people from the local communities in which we work. We believe in helping local businesses and are passionate about our regional communities. Orbis takes an active role in the social housing and the business community with accreditation from, and membership of, a large number of professional bodies from the British Institute of Facilities Management, British Security Industry Association and British Pest Control Association to the British Safety Council. We are accredited by Contractor Plus, Trustmark, CHAS, and Safe Contractor. Our BS5979 Category 2 Alarm Receiving Centre on the Wirral complies with the BS8484 Code of Practice and is regarded as a valuable asset by our customers in protecting their properties from the threat of trespassers and other costly threats.
