We’re keen to use this supply chain influence to benefit local communities and encourage innovation and environmental outcomes. One way is by looking, forensically, at exactly what we spend with different types of suppliers. Baselining where we are and identifying new goals will help us to increase our spend with smaller suppliers, fledging high-tech firms, voluntary organisations, social enterprises and not-for-profits.”
